Dental Sealants
Sealants are a protective coating applied to back teeth to prevent cavities. It is a non-invasive, cost-effective treatment that is well-tolerated by most children.

Small cavities may be fixed with a white filling but larger cavities and other situations may require a crown (cap). All of the crown options that we use for front teeth are white coloured. For back baby teeth, we offer silver crowns made of stainless steel and aesthetic white crowns made of zirconia.

Teeth with deep cavities may need a type of nerve treatment or even extraction to get back to a healthy, comfortable smile.
Tooth Discolouration
Tooth discolouration in children can happen for many reasons. It is important to visit to get a diagnosis and determine the cause. For some kids, aesthetic differences can be bothersome and we can recommend the best treatment to keep them smiling!

There are many situations where children cannot sit for traditional dental treatment. Some cavities can be treated with research supported techniques that don’t need freezing or high speed drills. These techniques can buy time until a child is old enough to cooperate or be a successful long-term treatment.
